Histories of the Swiss Company Founding Families of Santa Clara, Utah 1861
This compilation of histories of the original Swiss settlers includes those who came with that first company of Swiss converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, who were called by Brigham Young to create the community of Santa Clara. The histories were written by family members or others with knowledge of the families. It generally does not include those who were born here after the arrival of their parents, or those who came later. Some histories may include information about those who came later or were born here, but the primary focus is on those who arrived in November 1861,
